World Cancer Day 2023: aims to prevent millions of deaths by raising awareness and education about cancer. The international day was initiated to promote research, prevent cancer, improve patient services, and mobilise the global community to make progress against cancer.
There are over 19 million new cases of cancer in a year. Yet 30-50% of all cancers are preventable.

- Unusual lumps or swelling, which are often painless and may increase in size.
- Persistent coughing, breathlessness, or difficulty swallowing.

- Noticeable change in a mole in terms of size, shape, or colour.
- Lumps in the breast.
