Out-of-hospital maternity benefits l are paid from risk.
Does the Medshield MediSaver hospital plan with savings cover dental?
Medshield MediPlus Prime plan offers cover for out-of-hospital services from family doctors visits and specialist consultants. Medications are covered at 100% of the Single Exit Price (SEP), subject to use of the Medshield pharmacy network and managed care practices. Your daily limit is assigned based on the size of your family.
What Maternity Benefits does the Medshield MediSaver hospital plan offer?
A Medisaver memeber has access to a range of maternity benefits, such as:
• 8 Ante-Natal Classes and Postnatal Midwife Consultations,
• 1 Amniocentesis and 12 Ante-Natal consultations,
• 2 x 2D Scans and a Midwife paid up to 200% of the Scheme Tariff / Rate.
